HR Management serves the SFS Group in Switzerland and SFS Locher also in the neighbouring Vorarlberg region of Austria, providing professional services which make an essential contribution towards ensuring the group's continued viability.
The individual group companies are each supported by clearly defined teams. The local HR managers are at the disposal of the executive committee, managers and staff as advisers and coaches.
Duties and activities are based closely on the Michigan Model. The teams support line managers in personnel marketing, personnel recruitment and selection. HR Management provides appropriate tools for personnel appraisal and performs controlling functions. With regard to personnel remuneration, HR Management not only provides the resources, but also advises and supports managers. HR Management provides selected facilities (e.g. job rotation, job enrichment, job enlargement) to support personnel development in line operations.
Pension fund:
The fund's governing board runs a broadly diversified pension fund for the benefit of employees and guarantees that the funds are not misappropriated. HR Management is responsible for operating the fund.
Works Council:
The interests of employees are represented by a works council.
Training future employees:
Apprenticeship training is a high-priority task for SFS Holding AG in Switzerland and in the neighbouring Vorarlberg region of Austria. HR Management assumes an important role here in the systematic training of future employees in the occupations listed.
